FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About the London Pass

Which London Pass is recommended for 2026?

That depends on your travel style. If you want to see as much as possible while saving money, the London Pass from GoCity is a great choice—it covers over 100 attractions, including bus and boat rides. If you’d rather select 2–7 specific highlights, go for the Explorer Pass. For more details, see our London Pass comparison.

Is the London Pass worth it for a 2-day stay?

Yes, if you make the most of your time. The Tower of London (approx. €35), London Eye (approx. €30), Westminster Abbey (approx. €30), and The Shard (approx. €30) alone cost around €125 combined—the 2-Day Plus Pass costs €184 but includes much more.

Which is the best London Pass for a 3-day stay in London?

With 3 days, you’ll get the most out of the London Pass® (€226 for adults)—provided you visit several attractions each day.

Does the London Pass include the Tube?

No—none of the London Passes cover public transportation. The  Visitor Oyster Card  or contactless card payments are the most convenient alternatives for the Tube and buses.

Do I need to pick up the pass somewhere in London?

No. All four passes are delivered digitally via email and used on your smartphone via a QR code. No need to pick anything up or print anything out.

Does the London Pass expire after 24 hours or per calendar day?

The London Pass is valid per calendar day, meaning from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM—not 24 hours from the first use. It’s therefore especially worth starting early.

How much does a London Pass cost on average?

The Attractions Pass starts at €59. The Explorer Pass starts at €82 for 2 attractions. The London Pass Plus costs at least €130 (1 day, adult). The Turbopass also starts at around €130.

Can the London Pass be canceled?

Through GetYourGuide, free cancellation is generally possible up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. For direct bookings with GoCity or the Turbopass provider, the provider’s respective terms and conditions apply.

Which pass includes the London Eye?

The London Eye is included as standard in The London Pass Plus and the Attractions Pass. With the Explorer Pass, it can be booked as a selectable attraction. With the Turbopass, the London Eye is only available for an additional fee.

How do I activate the London Pass?

After purchasing online, you’ll receive a confirmation email. For GoCity passes, download the GoCity app and enter your booking number there. The pass is activated the first time you present it at the entrance of an attraction. You can find our step-by-step instructions here.
